Meet Heather van Munster Transforming Workplace Opportunity Committee Member

Heather van Munster is a devoted mother, dynamic leader, passionate advocate and

community builder. She serves as an Account Executive at IBM, Co-Chair for the

Victoria Chapter for Women in Leadership, and the Founder of Women on the Rise—a

social impact organization that brings together thought leaders and women-led

organizations to amplify the collective power of women supporting women.

During her 15-year tenure at IBM, Heather has risen from an entry-level administrative

role to her current position as Account Executive. Along the way, she earned her PMP

certification, completed her Executive Coaching designation at Royal Roads University,

and is currently pursuing certification as a Personal Trainer. Her journey reflects a

steadfast commitment to lifelong learning and the power of integrating personal

development and professional growth.

Heather is widely recognized as a collaborative facilitator, coach, guide and mentor who

inspires others to unlock their full potential. Known for her ability to create safe and

empowering spaces, Heather helps individuals navigate challenges, build confidence,

and realize their aspirations.
