Shannon Christensen (born Kimmitt) was born and raised in Kelowna, BC and lives here with her husband of 10 years and 2 boys. Shannon is passionate about her friends, family and her community. With a BA in Psychology and Master’s of counselling psychology, she has a passion for working with marginalized populations and used this drive to start Mamas for Mamas; a registered non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the negative impact of poverty on low-income mothers and their families. Shannon has been recognized as a top 40 under 40 recipient, A Woman to Watch, and was a top 3 finalist for Woman of the Year through The City of Kelowna Civic and Community Awards.
elan Bailey - Founder of UpLevel People Partners & UpLevel Leadership Academy
elan Bailey is a transformational leadership coach and organization development consultant. She is the Founder of UpLevel People Partners and UpLevel Leadership Academy where she works with mission-driven leaders and organizations to develop adaptive leaders, integrative cultures and high-impact teams where all stakeholders are represented and everyone can thrive. She also coaches women leaders and executives on how to develop their authentic voice and leadership so they can expand their income, impact and influence and thrive in the process. She has a master's degree in Leadership and Organization Development and 12 years experience as a designer, facilitator and coach of transformational learning and people development programs.

Dr. Marina Adshade is a faculty member at the Vancouver School of Economics at the University of British Columbia and one of Canada’s leading experts on the economics of gender. Marina is an experienced writer, commentator, and keynote speaker. Her unique approach to understanding sex and love applies a mix of economic, sociological, biological, and psychological theories and evidence to wide range of social issues and questions of human intimacy. Her book, Dollars and Sex: How economics influences sex and love, has been published in ten different languages and is available in bookstores around the globe. Marina has published over seventy opinion pieces and feature articles in the Wall Street Journal, Sunday Times (UK), Daily Mail (UK), Globe and Mail, Time Magazine, Psychology Today, Buzzfeed, Slate and the Daily Beast.
