“Being a WIL Mentor this year has been a wonderful experience. The program exceeded my expectations with valuable content on skill-building, self-awareness, public speaking and more. I strongly feel the skills that women need moving forward aren’t technical abilities, but the ability to stand solid in life (self-management), to make informed decisions true to oneself (authenticity), and to seek guidance when feeling stuck (vulnerability). This mentoring program develops all three areas through learning. It’s a wonderful chance to share and see how common our struggles are as modern women. The in-person workshops were as powerful as the 1:1 mentoring to create a safe, supportive environment in a group setting. Many of us completed the program having made lasting connections and having gained a new horizon for our future.” Jessica Manca, 2014 WIL Mentor
